To be successful in the role, you would need to have:

1. Posses a minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Engineering Physics or Equivalent

This will specifically include:

• Ensuring that all maintenance, repair and lubrication is carried out when the looms are at a standstill and are clearly posted as such;
• Ensuring that machines are only operated in line with the manufacturer’s instructions;
• Ensuring that all safety interlocks are working correctly all guards are securely attached and that this check is recorded;
• Ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained, with particular emphasis and notice taken of oil grease and wrap lubricant spillages;
• Adhering to all guidelines;
• Ensuring that all Personal Protective Equipment as issued is used. Other Duties The post holder will be required to perform duties appropriate to the post, other than those given in this job description. The particular duties and responsibilities attached to the post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of the responsibilities entailed. Attributes and Experience The successful applicant will possess good English and literacy skills, an excellent timekeeping and attendance record and the ability to work within a team.
