Bachelor’s or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related fields.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in NGS laboratory work (academic or industry setting).
Strong background in NGS library prep, sequencing, and data interpretation.
Expertise in Illumina sequencing platforms (MiSeq, NextSeq, NovaSeq, iSeq, etc.).
Hands-on experience with PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, and nucleic acid extraction.
Proficiency in NGS library preparation techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a research environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
Perform library preparation, quality control, and sequencing runs using Illumina platforms (e.g., MiSeq, NextSeq, NovaSeq).
Optimize sample preparation protocols to enhance sequencing efficiency and data quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., bioinformatics, molecular biology, clinical research) to enhance NGS capabilities
Support the implementation of automation and high-throughput sequencing techniques.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, SOPs, and protocols.
Maintain and troubleshoot NGS instruments to ensure seamless operation.
Interpret sequencing results and contribute to scientific reports and publications.
Collaborate with Research Collaboration team and other cross-function team in research projects involving NGS application
Mentor and develop a team of NGS research analysts by guiding them through daily tasks and fostering their growth and professional development.
Supervise the team’s experimental procedures and data analysis activities and adherence to high quality standards in NGS work.
