TOP TALENTS WANTED: The 3rd Young Entrepreneur Award (YEA) 2015 in Tokyo!

What is YEA?

The Young Entrepreneur Award (YEA) is an international business plan competition in Tokyo for promising students from top universities in Asian countries. Our vision is to create an Asian entrepreneurial platform that brings together Asia’s young entrepreneurs with investors to discover and produce technologies and content with high potential.

The 1st YEA received 237 entries from 13 countries/regions across Asia. The selected 6 finalists were invited to the final round in Tokyo and made their excellent pitch.

We are expecting an even wider coverage of participation from 20 countries, and the finalists will join not only to YEA but also cultural exchange program for a week and visit Japanese companies and universities and experience some cultural events.

Application & Selection Process Schedule

If you have any additional material related to your business plan, please convert it into PDF and attach it with the Application Form (optional).

▼First round (screening of application materials): October 1-9, 2015 Semi-finalists will be selected after a screening of application materials.

▼Second round (online presentations by semi-finalists): October 13- October 22, 2015 All semi-finalists will be required to give online oral presentations, approximately 10 minutes to the selection committees.

▼ Final round: (Open presentation and award ceremony): December 3, 2015 The finalists will do open presentations (10-15 minutes each). The winner will be announced at the in the evening of the same day.
