We are looking for 2 QC Inspectors – Fabrication to support quality control and inspection activities for HDPE piping fabrication.

The role is responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, fabrication processes, and finished products comply with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable procedures, Work Instructions, and quality requirements.

The position will work closely with Fabrication/Production, Engineering, Quality, and other related functions, including supporting customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities.

MUST HAVE

  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control/Inspection within fabrication, piping, manufacturing, construction, or related project environments.
  • Hands-on experience performing incoming/material receiving, in-process, and/or final inspection.
  • Able to read and understand technical/fabrication drawings, inspection documents, and technical specifications.
  • Familiar with dimensional and visual inspection.
  • Familiar with quality documentation, inspection records, and material/product traceability.
  • Understanding of NCR/non-conformance processes and product acceptance criteria.
  • Able to prepare and maintain accurate inspection and quality records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, systematic, and able to maintain objectivity during inspection activities.
  • Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fabrication/workshop environment.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Experience in HDPE piping fabrication and inspection.
  • Knowledge of HDPE butt fusion and/or electrofusion processes.
  • Experience verifying fusion/welding parameters, welding/fusion records, and welder/operator qualifications.
  • Experience with hydrostatic pressure testing and/or leak testing.
  • Experience supporting customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Able to read and understand isometric drawings.

Experience or technical exposure related to piping systems and associated industrial equipment, particularly:

Candidates with strong QC fabrication or piping experience who have not previously worked specifically with HDPE may still be considered if their technical inspection experience is transferable.

    • Perform Material Receiving Inspection (MRI), in-process inspection, and final inspection of fabricated products.
    • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections according to approved drawings, specifications, inspection check sheets, and acceptance criteria.
    • Verify compliance with fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, project specifications, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
    • Verify fabrication and fusion/welding parameters and related records.
    • Review welding/fusion records and verify welder/operator qualifications.
    • Verify material identification and maintain material traceability throughout the fabrication process.
    • Witness and support hydrostatic pressure testing, leak testing, and other required inspection/testing activities.
    • Support customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities.
    • Accurately record inspection results and maintain complete and traceable quality documentation.
    • Identify non-conforming materials, products, or processes and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required.
    • Communicate quality issues promptly and support follow-up and corrective actions.
    • Ensure inspection and quality records are complete, properly maintained, traceable, and audit-ready.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure fabrication activities meet applicable quality requirements.
