2-3 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or Solution Designer.
Deep understanding of at least one core BSS area (e.g., Product Catalog, CRM, Order Management, Billing) and its role in the end-to-end service lifecycle.
Demonstrable experience in creating detailed technical documentation (FSDs, API specs, UML/BPMN diagrams) and translating business needs into technical requirements.
Excellent ability to analyze complex problems, model multifaceted business scenarios, and propose clear, logical solutions.
Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with TM Forum concepts, Open APIs (e.g., TMF620, TMF622), and the eTOM/SID frameworks.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Basic scripting skills (SQL, Python) for data analysis or payload generation; experience reading system logs and using API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
Understanding of modern integration patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, Message Queues).
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Decompose high-level needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Create comprehensive system design documentation, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), process flows (BPMN/UML), sequence diagrams, and API specifications (e.g., OpenAPI/Swagger).
Investigate and document existing system behavior, data models, and integration points to support new feature development and identify opportunities for improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the development and QA teams to clarify requirements, answer functional questions, and ensure the technical implementation aligns with the specified design.
Execute targeted Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and experiments to validate solution designs, test technical assumptions, and de-risk complex initiatives.
Define and maintain standards, best practices, and reusable assets for system configuration and product modeling within the BSS/OSS landscape (e.g., Product Catalog modeling).
Develop and maintain a central knowledge base for system functionalities, design patterns, and integration guides.
