Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience or certifications may also be considered.
2–3 years of experience working in a telecommunications-related technical or presales role.
Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting telco technologies, including Core, RAN, or Transport networks..
Intermediate knowledge of telecommunication networks (RAN, Core, and Transport).
Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., SIP, SS7, LTE) and tools used within telecommunications environments.
Basic knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience integrating telco systems with cloud services.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Ability to design and implement network routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, and static routes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address client challenges and tailor solutions effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and deliver impactful technical demonstrations.
Experience creating technical documentation, including solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and use cases.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and stay updated on advancements in telecommunications technologies.
Certifications in telecommunications or networking (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Nokia NRS, or equivalent) are a plus.
Design and deliver tailored telecommunications solutions that address client-specific challenges and business requirements.
Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise during client engagements, including demonstrations and RFP responses.
Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot telco systems to ensure optimal performance during Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
Develop detailed technical documentation, including system architecture designs, network schematics, and integration plans.
Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and present scalable, innovative telco solutions.
Collaborate with Product Solution Architects and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with organizational capabilities.
Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in telecommunications, integrating relevant innovations into client proposals.
Support clients by providing post-sales technical guidance, addressing queries, and assisting with solution deployment.
Promote best practices in telco solution design, emphasizing scalability, security, and reliability.
Build strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
