Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting, or technical leadership, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or coordination capacity.
Experience building or managing presales functions and working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Exposure to external vendor coordination or product assessment activities is a plus.
Strong understanding of the presales lifecycle: from technical requirement gathering and solution design to proposal development and documentation.
Familiarity with CRM platforms to manage presales activities, track opportunity status, and coordinate engineering task allocation.
Capability to define and standardize technical documentation, including solution decks, HLD/LLD, PoC plans, BOM outlines, and RFP technical responses.
Ability to coordinate across technical domains (IoT, AI/ML, Security, Network Infra, Telco) and guide engineers toward cohesive solution alignment.
Experience in managing technology partnerships, including vendor communication, documentation intake, and solution readiness tracking.
Proven ability to assess and document new third-party products for internal alignment, integration feasibility, and technical fit within the organization’s portfolio.
Excellent team leadership and technical mentoring capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for engaging across Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.
Lead the Presales Engineering team by overseeing project assignments, review processes, and domain coverage alignment.
Build and maintain a standardized presales process, including CRM usage, SOPs, document templates, and engagement workflows.
Review and validate technical solution proposals to ensure they meet internal standards, align with client needs, and are ready for delivery handover.
Collaborate with Product Architects and Delivery teams to ensure feasibility and completeness of proposed solutions.
Serve as a point of coordination for technology partners, ensuring that product information, integration documentation, and technical references are up-to-date and properly assessed.
Conduct and oversee product assessments, documenting solution readiness, integration viability, and alignment with existing platforms.
Facilitate internal knowledge sharing, manage playbooks, and lead technical deep-dives or retrospectives with the Presales team.
Track and monitor presales opportunity workload and performance KPIs using CRM dashboards and operational reports.
Support the onboarding and upskilling of Presales Engineers, ensuring team readiness and continuous development.
