Engineer, ESD (Environmentally Sustainable Design)

Afogreen Build is a green consultant based on Sydney, Singapore, and Jakarta. We are committed to provide excellent and hassle-free services in achieving environmental sustainability through green consultancies. Our team has decades of experiences and proven track records of various green consultancies with worldwide clientele including those from the USA, France, UK, Australia, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Will significantly contribute to building a better world that is environmentally sustainable. Opportunity to work with multicultural international teams and be involved in large projects for optimizing indoor performance, maximizing energy and water saving, sustaining the environment and obtaining international recognition.

 

  • Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, building science).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Able to operate CAD software, energy simulation, wind simulation, wind driven rain, and daylight software.
  • Understanding of building systems particularly in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Understanding of Green Mark, LEED, GBI, Greenship, WELL, and other green rating system.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience. Candidate with more experiences can be considered for senior position.

  • A quick learner with initiative to take necessary actions beyond instruction given.
  • An independent and highly self-motivated individual who has a sense of urgency towards project completion and strong problem-solving skills
  • Manage green consultancy projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and project submissions.
  • Search for materials, products, technical specification and cost.
  • Conduct all necessary calculations and simulations, such as ACMV system, lighting, landscape, ETTV/OTTV, energy simulation, wind simulation, daylight simulation, solar radiation simulation, etc.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, building owners, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Conducting physical walk through and detail measurement of the building related to ACMV, lighting, indoor comfort, etc, to analyse building system performance and propose improvement.
  • Support marketing, sales, training, and administrative activities.
