Tangguh is the largest gas producer in country, counting approximately a third of national gas production. bp also has non-operated interest (30%) in Andaman II PSC, an offshore Deepwater exploration block in Aceh. About You

This graduate position is based in Jakarta office.

  • Have recently graduated from Bachelors (S1) or Masters (S2) program or will be graduating by June or October 2025

Project Control Engineering

If you enjoy working in a fast-moving environment within high performing teams delivering nationally and internationally significant projects, then a career in project controls may well be for you. Our project controls teams provide the information and detailed analysis that enables bp to design and deliver efficient and competitive projects. They perform a wide range of activities, including estimating, planning & scheduling, cost forecasting and control, across all stages of the project lifecycle. Project controls teams have a unique view across the whole of the project and support the project management team in all areas of key decision making.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineers support our operations around the world. They work for ensuring the correct selection, specification, and construction of mechanical equipment and systems, as part of building new facilities or modifying existing assets. They work also to develop maintenance strategy, monitoring equipment performance, and investigating operational difficulties. There are also roles working as a technical specialist advising operations on particular aspects of mechanical engineering.

As a Graduate Project Controls and Mechanical Engineers in Indonesia so you will have the opportunity to take part in the Tangguh UCC project which is a Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) which is key to support the Indonesian Oil & Gas production targets by 2030 and is one of the most exciting major project in the world across any industry.
