  • Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • Be accountable for the test automation projects, mentor, and provide leadership to the QA automation developers.
  • Focus on continuous Software QA improvements.
  • Monitoring of all the Software QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Ensure & promote the Implementation of Agile Project Management Values within the working process of the Software QA organization.
  • Ensure team’s understanding of product values & needs from a QA technical perspective.
  • Responsible for leading and directing QA developers across all the agile teams.
  • Giving direction & leading the goal-setting (OKR) process with the Software QA team, assisting in prioritization, and own deliverables to ensure alignment with related organizations & corporate objectives.
  • Actively Involved in conducting 1-on-1 Coach, Counselling & Feedback sessions to help QA Lead and engineers identify & grow their skills as well as experience.
  • Participate in interviews, induction, training, and performance evaluation of all Related QA-developers leads.

General

  • Have more than 7 years of experience as Senior QA Engineer / Tester / SDET, including more than 3 years of people management experience (Fintech experience is a plus).
  • Experience leading testing projects in the context of large-scale, cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Experience coaching or training team in engineering best practices.
  • Have experience working on CI/CD and agile methodology.

 

Soft Skills

  • Proven team manager with a servant leader mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done collaboratively.
  • Ability to communicate high-level strategy and technical details effectively.
  • Great communication skills in English.
  • A passion for learning new languages & technologies.

 

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience in testing Android, iOS Mobile apps, Web portals, and REST APIs.
  • Should have a deeper understanding of the product at the implementation level, and should be able to analyze logs and API responses at the Micro-Service integration level.
  • Understanding of good industry test practices and techniques.
  • Understand Privacy and Security guidelines and include them as part of test cases.
  • Experienced with tools: Android-studio, X-Code for iPhone, Mobile Emulators (Android, iOS), Postman, Automation IDEs, DB Access Tools, Kibana for Logs.
  • Having experience with QA automation best practices using Katalon, selenium, etc.
  • Knowing PCI or Fintech regulations is a plus.
