Technical Artist

Calling all technical artists with a passion for innovation and a love for gaming! Kaigan Games wants YOU to join our team as a technical artist! You'll be responsible for developing tools and workflows that streamline our production process, ensuring the highest quality of art in our games. We're looking for someone who's a creative problem solver, a team player, and has a passion for gaming. Would be nice if you have:
  • A passion for both art and programming
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Artist or equivalent role, with a strong portfolio of work
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Unity or Unreal Engine, as well as experience with programming languages such as C# or Python
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, and animation principles and techniques
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What we expect you to do:
  • Collaborate with the art and programming teams to ensure that assets are fully functional and optimized for performance
  • Develop and maintain tools and pipelines that improve the efficiency and quality of our art production processes
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues related to asset creation and implementation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in art and programming technology
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the team as needed
