Engineer, ESD (Environmentally Sustainable Design)

Afogreen Build is a green building consultant, who is committed to provide excellent and hassle-free services in achieving environmental sustainability through green building. Our team has decades of experiences and proven track records of various green building ratings and simulations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, Hong Kong, Dubai, Algiers, and Jeddah.   

Will significantly contribute to building a better world that is environmentally sustainable. Opportunity to work with multicultural international teams and be involved in large projects for optimizing indoor performance, maximizing energy and water saving, sustaining the environment and obtaining international recognition.  

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, building science).  
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. 
  • Able to operate CAD software. 
  • Understanding of building systems particularly in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.  
  • Understanding of Green Mark, LEED, GBI, Greenship, WELL, and other green rating system. 
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience. Candidate with more experiences can be considered for senior position.

  • Has leadership quality that can lead and guide others to achieve project goal. 
  • A person with meticulous eyes and careful with details. 
  • Good interpersonal communication skill 
  • A quick learner with initiative to take necessary actions beyond instruction given. 
  • An independent and highly self-motivated individual who has a sense of urgency towards project completion and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Manage green building projects independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Prepare reports, presentations and project submissions. 
  • Search for materials, products, technical specification and cost.  
  • Conduct all necessary calculations and simulations, such as ACMV system, lighting, landscape, ETTV/OTTV, energy simulation, wind simulation, daylight simulation, solar radiation simulation, etc. 
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, building owners, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.  
  • Conducting physical walk through and detail measurement of the building related to ACMV, lighting, indoor comfort, etc, to analyse building system performance and propose improvement. 
  • Support marketing, sales, training, and administrative activities.
